Hello Sir! I am caught up in a bit of dilemma here. i have passed the rest of my F series papers except F5 and 9. And i am currently taking classes for P2 as well. The issue here is i’ve given F5 two times and F9 once but due to certain circumstances couldn’t properly prepare for it due to which i flunked the papers. I have thoroughly studied the subjects though. Now my question being is would it be appropriate to appear for these 3 papers at once? considering i’d be re-appearing for my F5 and 9. On another note i really want to give P2 as all its lectures are pretty fresh in my mind and i am practicing with my class regularly too. I think i’ll be able to pull them off. Your advice on this will be highly appreciated.
October 17, 2016 at 1:49 pm #344270Given that you have failed F5 and F9, it would seem a big risk to be taking 3 papers in December. It would be better to just concentrate on F5 and F9 and make sure that you pass them.
Unfortunately you are not allowed to take P2 unless you do attempt F5 and F9 at the same time.
The only real alternative if you are determined to take P2 is to concentrate on this paper, and then hope you pass F5 and F9 but be prepared to fail and have to resit them in March.
If that happened, then you would keep your pass at P2, but it would mean you had wasted the exam fee for the other papers.October 17, 2016 at 5:46 pm #344389What are the chances that i’ll pass all of them if i start studying for F5 and F9 now, given that i just gave F9 in Sep session so everything i studied for it is pretty fresh in my mind. And for F5 i’ve already practiced the previous kit, i’ll only have to practice its new kit now that is according to the new format which is now mostly based on Mcq’s. Also, what do you think is the most important factor in tackling Objective portion well? Studying the text books for it?
October 18, 2016 at 8:09 am #344551It is impossible for me to rate the chances because obviously I do not know how well prepared you really were for F5 and F9 last time.
If you are watching our free lectures then you do not really need a Study Text. However a current edition of the Revision Kits is vital, and the only way to do well on the MCQ’s (apart obviously from studying the topics) is to practice and practice. The current editions of the Revision Kits have lots of MCQ’s to practice on.
October 18, 2016 at 4:23 pm #344750Thank you so much,Sir ! I have given it a thought, i think i’ll take your advice and stick to F5 and 9 and make sure i pass them instead of rushing on P2 along them considering it would be my first ever attempt to take any P series paper. I can appear for P1 and 2 in March. Thank God for flexible exam attempts. Just want to lift off the F series burden from my shoulders so that i am free to practice and take my P series papers. Also is the format of F5 changed as well, just like F9? Last time i appeared for F5 was in June, i think the format changed from September. More proportion of MCQ’s and less constructive long questions?
October 18, 2016 at 6:28 pm #344771Dear Sir,
I have got exemptions from f1 to f4 based on my working experience.
Now i am sitting for f5 exam in December.
Having less time for the exam, after a long gap i am starting the study. i finding very difficult to study even i am attending for 1 paper. On the other hand your lectures are very helpful for me to understand some concepts in the chapter.
My question is being self study with your lectures,
1. how much effort or time i should spent to workout to success this paper.
2. All the concepts i am getting it but when i start attending for 15 marks or 8 marks questions i am not getting it. How should i work out the practicals.Sorry if my questions are silly, but i need your tips to make up my studies. I am so much grateful and thank ful for your kindness for this lectures.
Thanks
