in the above Eg., you have arrived at NCI – B/F in one way which is understandable, But, If I tried to calculate using our normal way, we learnt. it show a different figure .. as below
NCI -B/F
NCI Value as of date of acquisition = 42,857
Post acquisition R/E (500,000-50,000)30%=135,000
Total = 177,857
In USD 177,857/5.90 = 30,145$
But, Your way show 62,960$
What’s the mistake I have made, Because, I couldn’t understand.

The figure of 42,857 is quoted in dollars whereas 135,000 is in soum
What you’re trying to do is convert the dollar figure into ……. dollars!
