I had left my institute which is a platinum tuition provider 6 months ago. Now they are chasing me for some outstanding amount when I have got nothing to do with them. I was not notified or communicated of any outstanding amount when I visited the office several times to get the paper work done. And as far as I can remember I requested them for a travel discount and adjust from my course fee in which case I was to get some refund. But I didnt get the refund I didnt bother anyway. And the fee has to be paid in full before I started attending my classes. I attended my classes for 10 weeks and waited for the results to come out. 10 weeks(classes)+ 2 months(results) + 6 months (after I left) so around 11 months. So now i’m getting mails and calls to pay the amount by a way of threat that if i do not pay they will escalate the matter to ACCA and get me removed from the register. Can they really do that? Should I mail ACCA about this matter? And should I report to ACCA that they are threatening me?

The most they can do is complain about you to the ACCA, but the ACCA would not remove you from the register without contacting you first to hear your side.Separately, you are entitled to complain to the ACCA if you feel that they are behaving badly.
