Hello Mike
for june 2017 sitting, do we also need to learn the old format of the report where the purpose of emphasis of matter para was different and we also had limitation of scope?
or shall i just concentrate on the changes and do not worry about the past?
please advise
thanks
May 28, 2017 at 7:07 pm #388646another question mike sorry
am i right in presuming that model answers in past exam papers are very lengthy and provided by acca for learning purposes. in actual exam its impossible to match their length and write that much?
May 28, 2017 at 9:12 pm #388658From what I can see, and I’ve just checked again, the new audit reports and associated IASs are not in the UK P7 syllabus for June 2017
Here’s the extract from the UK syllabus:
ISA 700 revised September 2014
ISA 705 revised October 2012
ISA 706 revised October 2012In contrast, here’s the equivalent extract from the International syllabus:
ISA 700 (Revised)
ISA 701
ISA 705 (Revised)
ISA 706 (Revised)Interestingly, despite searching on the internet, I cannot find the P7 examinable documents for September 2017to June 2018 although I can find the International equivalent
HMMM!
As for printed solutions – you’re NEVER going to achieve neither the length nor depth of those answers to don’t hang on to even a slight thread of ambition – it’s not going to happen
