If asked to state audit evidence that we expect to find but we answer in the form of audit procedures that should be done, would we get any marks??
No, because you have failed to answer the question
However, one is easily changed into the other! “Discuss with management ….” is easily converted into “There should be a record on file detailing discussions with management …” or “Obtain direct confirmation from the bank …” converts to “There should be a confirmation letter from the bank on file …”
