Hi, I’ve almost finished my application to study ACCA. I’m thinking of sitting exams in Dec ’14; but I’m a little puzzled on how many exams I should sit. I do have plenty of time to study between now and December; or I was also contemplating on sitting F1 in June ’14. I will be self studying but could anyone recommend any resources, books, websites, tutorials etc. Any advice and help is much appreciated. Thank you
April 23, 2014 at 10:06 pm #1660481. Number of exams depends on how much time you intend to devote to studying, how much prior knowledge you may have, how quickly you learn and the financial resources available to you. You can sit up to four exams in one sitting…in your case, F1, F2, F3 and more than likely F4
2. You could sit the F1 paper by CBE (You can also sit F2, and F3 by CBE) in time for the June sitting. The goal is achievable, but again refer to 1 above.
3. You have several resources: Open tuition, BPP Textbooks and Exam Kits, Kaplan Textbook and Kits, Emile Wolfe Textbook and Kits, and other resources, just look around and you will find them.
4. Also you may find it useful to go to a revision class/workshop just before the exams if you can find one.
