Which one of the following can the accounting equation can be written as?
A. Assets + profit -drawings – liabilities = closing capital
B. Assets – liabilities – drawings = opening capital + profit
C. Assets – liabilities – opening capital + drawings = profit
D. Assets – profit – drawings = closing capital – liabilities
I know the answer is C, but I can’t understand why. I have tried downloading the online lectures but it seems I can’t in my country
You can only watch the lectures online – they cannot be downloaded.
The accounting equation is explained both in the free lecture notes and the free lectures. It is then simply a question of rearranging it.
You will certainly be able to download the free lecture notes in your country. If you are not able to watch the lectures online then ask in the support forum and admin will suggest what to do.
