Would anyone recommend taking SBR, AAA and APM in one exam session(Dec 2020),
assuming one doesn’t work at the time.

See what I wrote here about sitting SBR and AAA together https://opentuition.com/topic/can-i-sit-for-aaa-and-sbr-together

My general advice for sitting multiple exams is as follows:
Download ACCA’s “Study Support Guide” which is clearly referenced in ACCA’s resources (e.g. this link for AAA https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7/self-study-guides.html) for each of the papers you are considering. Skim reading these will give you a “flavour” of each of the exams. Use the proforma planner and topics lists provided (or you could take the contents pages of OT notes as a topics list instead) to plan how you will study two exams in 4 months – is three possible? Generally I would not recommend more than 2 in one session to any student who does not have a clear pass history of having previously sat 2 exams a session. I have sadly known too many students spread themselves too thinly attempting 3 exams in one session and marginally failing all 3.

This is only my opinion – for a student response please post to ONE of the exam specific forums (I suggest AAA of APM is most likely where you will find students sitting both or this and/or SBR).

I am planning to do 3 exams in December, FR, AA and SBL. I fave finished F9 already hence SBL. is this a good combination ?

Is it better to finish FR and AA and then do the professional papers ?

Hi, I would recommend taking only a maximum of two papers per sitting. SBL is a professional paper and it would be more challenging than the skilled papers. However, it would all depend on your abilities and how much time you have. You would know best. 🙂
