Hello,
just want to here your views. Is it advisable to self study P3 ?

Self study is ok. Open tution notes are to the point but you still need your study text. Cover the entire syllabus and practice questions and exam speed.

it is possible to do self study but extra effort must be put into you studies, i attempted P3 for the 1st time and got 43% LAST JUNE. i believe i will pass come December. i have managed with the other subjects doing self study.

i intend to start with section B this time cos the scenario take alot of time and i wasted time reading it.

Yes it is possible to study P3 in a self-study manner. Make sure you go over ALL the syllabus content and practice practice practice those case scenarios.
have a look at http://www.TonySurridge.co.uk They have practice Q&As for ACCA P3, and they have a lot of practice stuff available. Use OT as well, as the more revision notes you have in your arsenal the better.September 20, 2010 at 7:00 am #68147Thank you all for the replies. I intend to use the same approach I used for P1 which was to cover the whole syllabus and do lots of questions.
