    Please explain q29 , why they used both rates why not only of second year

    The questions appear at random from a large bank of questions (as in the real exam) and so question 29 will be different each time you attempt the test.
    So you need to tell me the first line of the question for me to know which question you are referring to.

    The exchange rate in one years time is calculated using the inflation rates for the first year.

    The exchange rate one year after that (i.e. in two years time) is calculated using the exchange rate in one years time and applying the inflation rates for the second year.
