hi
please i need to know how to differentiate between Porter national diamonds , and porter 5 forces , i mean in application , if we asked about market development strategy , we could decide on expanding abroad , so could we used national diamonds , or 5 forces in order to assess the proposed strategy
thank you
Stay away from Porter’s Diamond unless the question make either direct reference to it or says something like ‘explain the competitive advantage of nations’. The diamond tends to explain historical success of nations eg why Germany is very good at cars. If you were setting up a car business now, you would probably not start it in Germany because of competition and costs.
ok i got it , thank you .
