F5 pass 68% but F9 fail with 43% 🙁 Both exams were first time attempted. I think it wasn’t the best combination of 2 papers. In my opinion F5 exam was harder than F9 but my results say contrarily.
paper f5 in one of the most worst paper in ACCA UK skills level it should be a part of professional level because no parts to identify what question can be asked by examiner plus a cost accounting and management theories and contains on a section no idea how question can come in a exam i fail in this exam second attempt but i promise next time i will pass it with 90% marks examiner you should wait for my exam copies and see what can i do in performance management 20,000 rupee i lost by giving this paper
I passed with 58%. Considering I misread one of the questions I’m quite relieved really!

I had a similar result; F5 71% but fail F9 with 45% I kind of knew that i messed up F9 in the exam, i went back and changed at least 3 times some of my answer… dammit!!

Thank you opentuition, the lectures on variances and advanced variances were life savers. I was using the Kaplan books and the way they explained variences was simply not working for me. The lectures tured my weakest subject in to my strongest.
Fail 46! December was my first ACCA session and I`ve made a BIG mistake – study for 4 exams F5, F6, F7 and F8 and you can guess what happened 🙂

thought it would be touch and go as felt the paper was very harsh. Ran out of time on the Learning curve Q, and spent too long on Mix/Yield Variance Q.
Can the Dec 2011 Revision text still be used for June 2012?
i didn’t even attempt question 2 and buggered up question 4 completely, so only managed 31% – had i had a decent attempt at question 2 and 4 i might have stood a tiny chance.
was a really harsh paper though i though – no financial and non financial analysis, no linear programming, no throughput accounting etc.
oh well.

45 % not bad considering I did not attempt a question & did not attempt all parts of the questions i did
no idea how i passed this! was sure i failed. Yet i was sure i sailed through F8 and only managed 46%.

Only 48%. Very upset about 2% fail:(
Was dreading the thoughts of getting this result but got the bare 50%. someone up above got me over the finish line. I also sat F4 on this session and I got 60 in that one with only about 10 days study . I spent at least 300 hours on F5 and did every question I could get my hands on but the paper on the day was really tough and not that it was overly hard but the format and content of the paper and questions just threw me and a lot of others . For the time put in the result doesn’t reflect the effort but I’m very grateful I won’t have to sit this particular again. : )

finally…….4th attempt…..so pleased and my eyes were waiting for this moment that i can see the words ‘pass’ in front of F5….Alhamdulillah got 69%

with all the hard work and sleepless nights,still could not reach the pass mark again.so disappointed…!
