    Hi all,

I noticed this exam it’s extremely dense and it needs a huge amount of study time allocation. I planned to sit TX exam + PM when I realised that its above 68 hours just in video lectures! Of course you need to add self study and practice time which could make around 120-150 hours at least.
Do you think it’s reasonable to sit TX exam together with PM in the same season window? Better standalone?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi.

Many students have opted to sit both those exams together in a single sitting and have managed to pass them as well. So it is certainly do-able.

However, circumstances differ for each of us and it can get quite stressful if you have other commitments, like job or family. I’d suggest you to analyse how much time you can actually dedicate to studying these exams during weekdays and particularly during weekends.

Personally, i’d not prefer to sit TX in March sitting. The finance act changes in June attempt and if you are unable to pass, then you have to study the revised rules again.
Fortunately, the 4 exam windows in a year give us a lot of flexibility. If you are sitting these exams for the first time, i’d suggest to start with one exam only. This way you can analyse how much time you require to study, revise and practice one exam. This can then help you in planning for exams in later windows.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your exams!
