links for the past year ACCA syllabi needed. are they in student accountant archive section? i cant find any. any help appriciated. thanx.
October 23, 2013 at 10:05 am #143430I do not think that they are available any more.
But why on earth do you want the old syllabuses? 🙂
(the latest syllabuses say at the end what the changes are since the previous syllabus)If you are wanting them because you have old books, then compare the current syllabus with that printed in the books.
September 13, 2014 at 12:20 pm #194867Hi,
I too need the past years ACCA syllabi. I am applying for Australian immigration, and the immigration authority requires the syllabus that matches the exact year/session for each ACCA paper I passed.
Hope you can help, thank you.
Regards,
Anand
September 13, 2014 at 2:54 pm #194871I can only suggest that you email the ACCA (and explain why you need it).
We do not keep copies of the old syllabuses, and I cannot find them anywhere on the ACCA website (which is understandable).
September 13, 2014 at 5:02 pm #194881Thanks John, already mailed ACCA, waiting for their reply.
Although I’m sure if ACCA could archive Student Accountant issues, they definitely could have archived past syllabi records. Every university does this and I see no reason why ACCA shouldn’t. Anyway, I’m sure they will provide me the same upon request; ACCA customer service is usually very responsive.

Anand
September 13, 2014 at 5:31 pm #194885I am sure they will still have copies (it is just that obviously it would be confusing for most people if they put them on the website).
June 4, 2015 at 4:37 am #252875I know this is a really old thread, but were you able to get copies, anandpinto? I am in the same boat, and the ACCA have told me they don’t have copies of their own syllabus….
June 4, 2015 at 8:56 am #252942Hi E,
Do you need it for immigration? In my case, I had to get my ACCA qualification (including syllabus) vetted by CPA Australia. I supplied CPA-Aus with the latest version of the ACCA syllabus available on website, along with documents mentioning any changes to syllabus of subjects I had sat for (this is also available on website). And I also emailed ACCA Connect regarding this, and got them to send a confirmation email mentioning that there has not been any syllabus overhauls since 2007.
This should satisfy the requirements.
Wish ACCA could have just archived each years syllabus like most Universities though.June 4, 2015 at 11:39 am #252992Hi anandpinto, thanks for your reply.
At the moment I need it in order to apply for an exemption from one of the classes in my masters degree (in Australia). I have also asked for a letter from the ACCA confirming that the syllabus is more or less the same, so I hope that plus the current version of the syllabus will suffice.
I will also be applying for PR soon though. Did you absolutely need the ACCA to confirm the syllabus hasn’t changed, for your skills assessment with CPA? I was under the impression my ACCA membership certificate would be sufficient for that.
Thanks very much for your advice. I wish I had thought to keep copies of each syllabus all along…

Hi anadpinto,
I found this topic while googling and I’m in exactly the same situation as you did 2 years ago.
I’m collecting past ACCA syllabus for CPA to assess my skills for Aus Immigration.
May I ask if you’ve succeeded with CPA using approach you mentioned above?
Many thanks.
Cheers,
MinhNovember 21, 2017 at 4:32 am #417054Hi Minh, I got CAANZ to do my skilled migration assessment. They didn’t need syllabi, just membership certificate, ACCA transcript (showing dates exams were passed etc) and a letter of good standing from the ACCA. I also submitted a copy of my undergraduate degree and transcript, which was not accounting-related & they did not need a syllabus for my degree either. Hope this helps & good luck with your visa application 🙂
