    Hi All,

As I approach my final exam, I wanted to point out, yes open tuition videos + a Revision kit (bpp/Kaplan – I used BPP kits throughout my studies) are indeed the best recipe for sucess (from my experience).

    I used Open tuition for F9, F6,F4, F3, SBL,APM, F5 and it was great!

I only wish I used it as my primary reference point for AFM! My work paid for a BPP course live online so I did that. However, especially for these maths-heavy/ logic papers, I highly recommend Open tuition because they explain the theory behind and use of these useful equations – this is something that was seriously lacking in the BPP revision course.

BPP can be good when doing face-to-face classes but it’s like pot luck with the teachers and they have a tendency to overwhelm students. I suspect that’s a given so that people book onto revision courses.

Especially since Covid, I’ve noticed the quality reduce for AFM & SBR. For this particular course, it was some guy on holiday and he even forgot his pen and wrote on the screen with his nail! So I would have been livid had I actually paid the 650-700quid for the course.

When we asked him to explain the logic behind one of his equations it was a weird growth one for Q47 Pault and he actually said, “Pass… I don’t know.”

I would much rather listen to John Moffat and Co Lectures, as they’re actually enthusiastic about the subject and you can see the depth of their understanding rather than simply regurgitating a script and highlighting a workbook.

And the Ask a Tutor forum on here is also superior to these expensive learning providers.

I say all this because I’m genuinely thankful to Opentuition and for anyone out there wanting to sit ACCA & feel pressured to go for expensive large commercial learning providers, don’t stress and spend a tonne because it’s not worth the money! Just buy the Practice&Revision Kits & use these Lectures. 🙂

Thanks again OpenTuition & keep up the great work!
