For NPV question, the examiners often begin with a long proforma of NPV and follows by some workings.
NPV is often awarded only 1 mark. Each working will be awarded 1-2 marks.
Should I begin with workings and follow by proforma of NPV ? In the context of pressure time in exam, I think this is better way to use time efficient to maximize max.
For example, if I have just 5 left minutes, instead of preparing a long proforma of NPV ( input some direct figures from scenario such as initial investment, discount factor which ears no mark) to result NPV (which just earn 1 mark) , I would begin with preparing working (TAD, working capital, cost with inflation…) and earn 1-2 mark for each working.
Just as important if you are running out of time is to make sure you do something (however little) for every part of every question.
