    Hi there everyone.

First of all I’d say hats off to everyone who is contributing here at opentution, you guys are doing a great job :).

I’ll be attempting F9 for the first time in June 2010, I’ve resvised all my notes given by the lecturer. My question is that is the BPP revision kit and the past exam papers given in it enough for preparation or do you recommend any thing additional to be done.

Regards and thanks in advance 🙂

    Hello Sami,

I am sitting F9 for the fist time as well. My advice would be as follows:

If you do as many questions as you can from the BPP book it will be more than enough.
My own experience is that if I get to do about 20 to 25 questions I am lucky but I get my ideas very clear. For me are better fewer questions but understanding everything rather than doing all the questions looking at the answers… Of course if you can manage to do all of them, better for you.
Also, don’t neglect to study the theory properly as here is where the easy marks are available. Many people will pay less attention to it and remember that you can be very well prepared in numbers and get stuck in the numeric part. However if you are well prepared in theory it is very difficult not to get good marks in here.
This is my approach to the exams as so far I have always passed on the first attempt. Hope this help,

    Good luck!

You still have time, if not cover but you can read the theory once at least

wish you and everyone else good luck who are sitting for F9 this June 🙂
