Hi
I’ve just taken FM exam and if I pass I will be looking to start the professional exams.
Is it best to do them in order, so start with SBL then SBR, then do the options?
So my first one will be SBL…? Is this doable?
Many thanks for any replies
Regards
The strategic professional exams may be sat in any order (though SBR should be studied before sitting AAA).
There is no one-size-fits-all rule – I would certainly recommend SBL or SBR if you’re not yet ready to choose your options https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/sa/study-skills/options-choices.html
But if you’re decided on AFM as an option you could build on success in FM – especially if a 4-hour mostly narrative exam seems more daunting.
At the end of the day it is entirely up to you – as well as the advice re options linked above you could take a look at the “one page summary” (overviews) for each of the SP exams. You will find them in the technical articles sections (under exam technique) called “How to Approach …” for example:
Many Thanks Kim
You are welcome!
