Hi there thanks for great lectures,

Just a quick question on the exam style this june.

If they ask say for example: 5 marks substantive procedures for a provision, to save time can i just go straight into the answer and use bullet points and write 5 SP, or should i start by saying… Here are the possible SP the auditors could perform…. i’M Just trying to save a bit of time but wasn’t sure if this may get points deducted if i haven’t properly structured my answer.

    Thank you in advance

    Martin

There are no marks for “fluff” and rewriting the requirement as an intro sentence is a complete waste of time.

Please look at the “How to score marks in AA – essential guidance” post on this forum https://opentuition.com/forum/acca-forums/acca-aa-audit-and-assurance-forums

You need only to think about the mark-earning points.

And there’s no such thing as “marks deducted” in any ACCA exams – there is NO negative marking.
