I have passed F4 CBE (English) with 80% pass. I think it was lucky which contributed to my score though. I studied by myself and spent a month to study. I know it is a long time but this was my first exam so I put a lot of effort in, also I wanted to see if I could study on my own without going to centre.
I studied all chapters from BPP text books and did the kit book three times.
The first time was after reading each chapter.
The second time was when I finished the whole text book, I read the note from opentuition and did the kit book again.
I then read the text book second time. Now I understood more because I could connect the relevant knowledge in different chapters together. I did not really understand what the book tried to tell me at the first read. I did the kid book again 🙂
When I do a question, I choose an answer for it but at the same time, I explain to my self why other options are not right. Therefore, I remember longer and could answer similar questions. The questions in my session were similar to what I solved in the kit book however in different aspects.
My advice is to try read all examples and cases in the text book because the questions use these backgrounds.

Thank you for this information. Approximately how many hours per week did you study?
