Interview with Tejot, ACCA Global Prize winner, who scored 90% in the Paper P2 June 2014 exam.
Please tell us in which country you live, and what work do you do.
I live in India and I work as an auditor for EY (formerly known as Ernst and Young)
How much time each week did you spend studying, on average?
I spent an average of 25 hours a week studying.
Which study resources did you use?
I used OpenTuition notes and lectures (including revision lectures) and BPP revision kit for practicing questions and did not opt for tuitions for any exam.
Did you get support from your firm?
Yes my firm supported me in leaves, fee payment and also gave me bonus on clearing exams.
What was your approach to your studying?
I used to study from OpenTuition notes by reading and solving the notes questions while watching the lectures.
Then two months before the exams I moved on to the revision kit of BPP and solved it completely by writing the practical questions and reading the theoretical questions.
Few days before exam I did the revision lectures from OpenTuition and practiced the revision kit for the second time.
What would you say was the most important factor that helped you to achieve such a high mark?
Eating and sleeping properly (for atleast 7-8 hours) during exam days helped me fetch high marks.
Also proper use of OpenTuition along with BPP revision kit were other key factors.
How did you find out about OpenTuition, and which of our resources did you use?
A colleague from my firm told me about it and I used all its resources.
Thank you, and Congratulations!
