First of all, thank you for another great lecture. Now, when it comes to Rent A Room Losses brought down can we offset these against any property income (including Holiday Lettings) or only against Rent a Room income?
Example 3: for the 2020 September exam, a mortgage interest charge will not be accounted as expenses, but tax relive of 20% of full amount will be given (despite the fact if its higher or additional taxpayer) is that correct?
These lectures on acca-tx-uk are just what i needed for better understanding as i have only been studying via the Kaplin textbook. So much better to hear from someone talking in person about it and hes really good at explaining in an interesting way . Greatly appreciated.

No for September exams tax year 2019/2020 will be used. So it’s 25% reduction and 75% tax relief.
