Please for question why are we using 16/20 * 20, why not the full 20
For question 1 b
They have depreciated the fair value adjustment. You are told it has a remaining useful life of 20 years in 20×2 and it has been sold in 20×6 so the carrying amount is 4 years on. I missed it at first too.
