    Hi – are the notes missing some pages? I have got 18 then it jumps to 21 – so not sure if this element explained is missing on the downloaded notes. Thanks!

      Why not post on the correct forum if you’re looking for a reply from a tutor? The Ask ACCA Tutor forums are regularly checked / monitored whereas the general forum (like this one) may not be followed as closely

    9:30 – Extract from TUI

    First Associate – 49% Capital Share while only 25% Voting Rights!!

    Seems like a bad deal – only 25% voting rights compared to 49% capital share??

    Any particular reason why that may be the case?

      Could be that they invested in a very successful business which was generating a lot of profit and the owner wanted to keep the control and run/manage the business by himself. Assuming it’s a successful business, Perhaps TUI only wants big profit returns from them and is already satisfied by the way how the business is run.
