As far as I’m concerned, in the BT Syllabus (Sep/23 – Aug/24) these topics you’ve mentioned (big data, blockchain etc). are not included in the exam topics. However, there are certain topics included in the “C” big area of the Syllabus (“Business Functions, regulation and technology”), where financial information provided by business, financial systems and technology and the impact of advances in technology is mentioned. So, as I haven’t got there yet, I’m not sure to what extent big data will be mentioned, for example.
Professor Ken made a comment in the first lecture about how questionable is the exam nomenclature (Business and Technology), since technology is included to a limited extent. As he mentioned, It would be a more introductory paper. I hope to have helped!
