Hi, I have completed F3 recently started studying Management Accounting. I have 9 exemptions from my university so this paper is exempted, as well as all other knowledge and skill level papers. I’m studying these papers on my own because the majority of the main syllabus topics were not covered by the university plus I was not satisfied with how they were being taught.
For learning, I’m using ACCA study hub resources, open tuition lectures, notes and mcqs. Unfortunately, the study hub doesn’t have much mcqs for the MA Chapters (only 10-12 mcqs or for some chapters 15-19).
I have seen many posts by students failing MA repeatedly, hence I want to prepare for this paper as if I were studying for an actual exam.
Would you suggest buying BPP and Kaplan exam kits, given the few mcqs available on study hub?
both kits are on a little expensive side where I live, but I will buy them if they are necessary for studying and passing the exam with good marks.
June 16, 2024 at 11:00 am #707314Certainly if you were going to take the exam then I would recommend buying a Revision Kit. Not both – one is quite enough (and you can get a 20% discount off the BPP Kit by using the link on this page 🙂 )
June 17, 2024 at 7:25 am #707341I have a 2021 BPP MA revision kit and 2022 Kaplan exam kit for MA. Will that be enough or must I buy the latest one?
June 17, 2024 at 8:18 am #707347Given that you will not be taking the real exam, those books are OK. However check the index of topics in our free lecture notes because there have been one or two syllabus changes in recent years, so don’t waste time on questions that are no longer examinable.
