Hello, This seems to be a very confusing concept for me. Could you please help me calculate the IRR for the below so I can be sure. Thank you in advance.
Year Cash flow
0 – (240,000)
1 – 80,000
2 -120.000
3 – 70.000
4 – 40.000
5 – 20.000The company’s cost of capital is 9%.
Why are you attempting a question for which you do not have an answer? You should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers – it has answers and workings.
I assume that you have watched my free lectures on how to calculate the IRR, so type out your answer and then I will tell you if you are correct (or where you are wrong if not 🙂 ).
