sir can we use the phrase “for example” in our answers, anywhere in our report/briefing notes?
While I believe giving examples from the case-study should be good, but I fear if that appears very informal given that we are writing to CEO/BOD.
Yes you can, provided it is used to describe something relevant to the CEO and at a high enough level.
For example (!), if you were explaining why opening in another country might work well and you were using Porter’s Diamond model, just saying ‘there are favourablr factor conditions’ won’t mean much to the CEO (or the marker). Therefore, it would be essential to add something like: ‘ For example, a good communications infrastructure and a well-educated workforce’.
