I had done full exam kit and solved past papers also but still I was unable to solve some questions as I felt that I had never seen such kind of questions before what to do?

Are you referring to the real exam this week?

If so, then always the questions are different because the examiner is checking that you have understood the topics and not just learned past answers.

How did you study before attempting the exam kit and the past papers? If it does turn out that you have failed the exam and have to take it again then if you used a Study Text then I suggest before next time that you watch all of my free lectures – they are a complete free course for Paper FM.

Nobody will be able to solve every question in the exam whether it is because of the wording or because of lack of time, but remember you only need 50% to have passed the exam.

Again, if you do fail and have to retake the exam, then work through all of the questions in your exam kit again (attempting each question before looking at the answer). If you already remember all of the questions then consider buying a kit from the other ACCA Approved Publisher (BPP or Kaplan) so that you have different questions to attempt.

When you come to anything in the answers you are not clear about then ask in this forum and I will explain.

If net cash flow is negative tax is 20% . Company has policy that if cash flows are even negative , it has other profitable inflows that will offset this impact. Subsidy is 20000 which is non taxable . Pls tellhow to calculate

I have not seen the exam and so I cannot comment on the questions.

As far as theory questions are concerned, they are always about 50% of the exam. Assuming that you have watched all my lectures then dealing with theory questions and coping with the stress is a question of practice.

Did you attempt the mock exams in your Revision Kit (and the practice exams on the ACCA website) under exam conditions (especially with regard to the time)? This is essential.

Given that you have typed that the subsidy is not taxable then it would come in the cash flows after having calculated the tax.
