I am really struggling with ACCA. I decided to study it independently. I am 42 and unemployed. I have chosen to sit F5, F6 and F7 in December.
This seems impossible. I do not understand how people can get through so much material in 12 weeks?
I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

I am sorry to hear about your current situation – 2020 has been an awful year!
Clearly if you have lots of time on your hands then filling it with constructive study is of course a good idea, but that does not guarantee that success will be achieved at its end. ACCA is not a quick fix and is a long and demanding road to navigate – what accountancy exams have you attempted / passed and when – and have you been working in an accounting role?September 21, 2020 at 5:52 pm #586327I had a telephone call from one of the Kaplan tutors. We have devised a plan.
Dec 2020: F5
Mar 2020: F6
Jun 2021: F7 & F8
Sep 2021: F9He thinks I should be able to obtain a full time job even without accounting experience as a part qualified accountant as I would have completed the Skills stage.
Acccountancy has been making me miserable. But at least I have a clear strategy now.
