At the start of the month, there were 2,000 units of work-in-progress in a factory. During
the month, 12,000 units were started. At the end of the month, 3,000 units were in closing
work in progress. The degree of completion of opening work-in-progress was 70% and
closing work in progress was 20%.
How many equivalent units of production were achieved during the month if FIFO were
used?September 17, 2020 at 11:13 am #585905Please do not simply type out full questions and expect a full answer. You must have an answer in the same book in which you found the question, so ask about whatever it is you do not understand and then I will explain.
I also suggest that you watch my free lectures on process costing, because this is a really easy question.
The lectures are a complete free course for Paper MA and cover everything needed to pass the exam well.
