Hey john. Do you think your lecture notes, videos and a kaplan study text and revision kit is enough to get a very good mark (above 70) in this exam. I heard some saying open tuition is boring and their lectures are bad. What is your opinion about this?
Yes, it is enough (and if you are watching our lectures then you do not really need the Study Text although it can be useful for extra help on any topics covered in the lectures that you find tricky).
Whoever has told you that our lectures are bad does not know what they are talking about (they are probably using it as an excuse for their own failure!). Our lecturers are the most experienced team of ACCA lecturers of any company – all are UK qualified accountants and all have been teaching for the major tuition companies in the UK for many years!
Thanks for your response. I really want to know why open tuition is still not an ACCA approved learning partner (Gold or platinum). Open tuition is CIMA approved partner so why don’t you opt for ACCA too. Anyway, I appreciate all of your works and believe this site is one of the best for ACCA tuition.
In order to be an approved learning partner, the ACCA require that we keep a record for every student of their progress (lectures watched, test marks etc..)
Maybe one day we will find a way of doing that but as things stand it would require too big a change to the website and be too costly given that we are determined to keep everything free of charge.Thanks for your final comment 🙂
Hi sir. Will you be able to answer questions I asked from kaplan revision kit? Do you have access to both BPP and Kaplan’s Revision kit?
I only have the BPP Revision Kit.
However I do have all the past exam question and many of the questions in the Kaplan Kit will be past exam questions – so in that case just tell me which exam and I will be able to answer.
The Section A and B questions are a lot shorter and so if they are not past exam questions it should not take long for you to type out the question.
