Sir, why is not share capital included in statement of changes in equity in the answer to notes of chapter 10 of f7 opentution notes……example 5?
The Statement of Changes in that question was merely showing the extracts – for retained earnings? – and was not intended to be a complete Statement of Changes.
In question 2 of the exam, Steve Scott MAY ask for a Statement of Changes, but could equally well ask you for just the Retained Earnings extract from the Statement
