I explain these terms in my lectures on Books of Prime Entry and Control Accounts.
They are returns to suppliers (returns outwards) and returns from customers (returns inwards).
(The Revision Kit is meant to be used for revision after you have finished all your studying – after having watched all of the free lectures).
