    Hi John, I was wondering if in the MA exam, there’s irrelevant figures given in the question just to confuse the person taking the exam? That seemed like the case in the exam kit questions I attempted and no wonder I kept getting them wrong. I relied solely on the data given and not the question itself. I remember in the foundation level exams, there used to be only relevant and exact figures in the question and I think that’s what made them so easy. Sorry for the long rant but I think this is why a lot of people find MA so difficult. Would like to know your thoughts on this.

    Yes, there is often irrelevant information. However it is not there simply to confuse, but to test that you understand and know what information is relevant.
