I am a new enrollment to the acca program and want to know how to attend classes and sit for exams. As per my info there are 4 exam seatings per year march,June,September and December…I got exempted from the first stage and am following the skills level..I already started attending classes this month…And I’m planning to sit F6 and F7 on march 2019,F5 on June,F4 on September and F8 and F9 December…..Is this a good way to do the exams cuz ill be also working during my weekdays and attend classes during the weekend….Is this an ok sort of combination???

Yes you have rightly stated…there are 4 exam sittings per year.

It is good to see that you are planning to utilise all the 4 sittings…which i personally think is a great approach to give the exams (especially when you are working full time and studying) as this secures better first time pass. You are certainly on the right track on not over committing with many papers per sitting.

However there is one thing I would like to advise on, concerning F6 and F7 On March 2019.
Well, honestly I am not in the favour of doing F6 in March sitting as it is the last sitting of the Finance Act that you would study in the syllabus. Which would mean from June (2019 in your case) a new Finance Act will be studied in the syllabus so books etc will be relevant to that Finance Act. Now sitting F6 in March is a risky situation. If a student is unable to sit the exam or pass the exam in March… For June he will have to study F6 again in relevance to the NEW Financial Act… So he would need to get the relevant notes, books etc. Basically I think it is like starting all over again.

So if I would have been in your place, I would sit F6 in September (which I actually did!) and F4 In March 2019(along with F7) but the decision is certainly yours.

F4 is a theory based paper and F7 has a lot of calculations so it is a good balance of the two…
And F4 is a good paper to start off your ACCA journey.. Since it has encouraging pass rates and will surely boost your confidence. I think one can easily self study it and pass.
And also, F4 is an on-demand exam (that IF you are giving a computer based exam) so you could give it anytime of the year suiting your on convenience. But would advise you – don’t defer it!

You can surely use and take the help of the lecture videos and notes on this website – (it is absolutely Free) just Paired with an exam practice kit by an ACCA Approved Content Provider.
If you have queries about the subject you can post it on the forum of that specific subject. If it is general then you do it over the General forum.
If u need help from the Tutor you can post it for the specific subject on the Ask ACCA Tutor forum.

    Hope this helps.
