Hello John, I have failed P7 previously in December attempt at 44%, where I could only manage to write paper for 70 marks due to slow writing speed.
I am resitting in this June 2018 attempt. So I wanted to ask that can I do a part b question first and then the Risk (question 1) and then come back to the rest of the paper?
And
What is the best pattern to attempt the paper in your opinion?

Certainly you can – just make sure that you clearly identify on each page exactly which question and which question part you are addressing on that page
“What is the best pattern to attempt the paper in your opinion?”
This is very personal and individual for each and every one of you. For me … I would attempt a 20 marker, then 35, followed by 25 and finally another 20 marker
But that’s just what I would do – it could be that no-one else in the World would follow that sequence
Now my question to you … the exam is taking place the day after tomorrow. You know weeks ago that you were going to retake in June. So what has taken you so long to write for help and advice?
It’s much too late for me to give you the advice I give to students when they write to me 6 weeks before the exam date
All I can do at this stage is wish you luck and know exactly how many lines you can legibly write in 1 minute 27 seconds
OK?
