HMRC, after getting the opportunity to charge 9 late filing penalties to the 3-day old company :)) Who knows, maybe they bribed Companies House to deliberately make that mistake!
Who knows? Although, from a UK citizen’s perspective (and maybe I’m being totally naive here) surely it’s unlikely that HMRC could be the willing recipient of a bribe. NO! I cannot even begin to contemplate the possibility. Just stop it right there!
Recipient? They would be the sender. ‘Hey mister Companies House, this is HMRC speaking. Kindly forget to rotate the 10s wheel on the date stamp, will you? Cheers.’ That’s only a purely made-up movie scenario, not an actual conspiracy theory. Or is it? 馃槢

Leorts, neither a recipient nor a payer! neither Companies House nor HMRC could even begin to contemplate such underhand action!
