    Dear sir,
    Can I calvulate the trend for 20X3 Q3 using the following method?
    145.13+ 4 +22.55= 181.68
    (20X2 Q3 + Growth in trend for 20X2 (146.25-142.25)+ seasonal variation)

    Perhaps. I don’t mean to be critical, but that would be an unusual approach. Whatever method is used to predict the future is always prone to error. Your way might be as good as any other, but the normal way (and the way most easily recognised by the marker is to estimate he trend then superimpose the seasonal variations.
