september/december 2016 Q3a
How to calculate the growth of ‘8’ in the estimates?
can i calculate the estimates this way?
average growth per period: (136-121.38)/10 = 1.462
2016 Quarter 4: (136+1.462+1.462+1.462)+14.6 = 154.99
The answer suggests that growth per quarter is about 2 million, so growth over a year is 4 x 2 = 8.
In your method, you have to divide byj9 not 10 ss there are 9 increments, not 10. Then you would be fine.
