Hi Sir Mike!
I understand that we need to write sentences about three lines long.
But for example in Q1, about Goodwill perhaps. I can think about perhaps 6 points or more for this but not really sure how many marks are allocated on this alone. I could then end up writing a lot of three liner paragraphs (about 6 or more) for this.
Or do I just allocate two points for this and move on? But the thing is I might not cover enough marks and going back at it at the end of the answer is going to be a nightmare.
Sos!
Thanks!
KyleAugust 27, 2017 at 11:04 am #403747This is a major problem when you are not given the mark allocation for each separate part of a question (whereas the international questions do give that allocation)
Probably the nest way is, when planning, determine how many points in total you can get together for the entire question and then try mentally to self-allocate
But that’s really less than satisfactory
And, sadly, I have no idea why ACCA won’t give that mark allocation 🙁
Sorry that I can’t be more help
