Hello
I notice in the examiner’s comments they mention “1 mark for each relevant point”. My question is, if for example the question deals with the 3 lenses of strategy and i give a definition of each of the 3, would i get marks for that?
For example, regarding strategy by ideas, i may say something like:
This is where strategy is said to come from ideas that pop up at different levels of the organisation and at different times, not in a logical or planned out manner. The development of these ideas should be allowed to flourish and so not too much management control is required. It is what is known as an “emergent strategy”
The examiner could ask about the three lenses and potentially allocate three or six marks.
An answer of the length you suggest would certainly be getting close to 2 marks.
Thanks
