Hello Guys,
Its there any definition for profit after tax as per IFRS.
Can you please help on urgent basis.
If you post on this forum, there is no need to plead for help – I shall answer your questions as soon as I read them.
I don’t sit at my pc 24 hours per day, but I can’t remember the last time I didn’t answer a question within 24 hours
Now, what’s the problem?
Towards the bottom of a statement of profit or loss, you’ll find the line “Profit before tax(ation)” I tend to abbreviate it to just ‘tax’ but strictly it should be ‘taxation’
Immediately below, you’ll see the line “Tax(ation)”
The line below that reads “Profit after tax(ation)
Now, of those three lines, which do you think is the line that will indicate the figure referred to as ‘profit after tax’?
I can’t believe that this answer of mine has satisfactorily addressed your question but, unless you are more specific in your question, then that’s the best I can do
Post again if this doesn’t do it for you
