Dear Sir,
I passed F9 paper at 63%. in September 2016 attempt. Will I have to revise it all over to before starting studying P4? I studied F9 from Opentuition.com.

Not all of F9 is examinable again in P4 – the biggest bits are the DCF investment appraisal and the calculations of the cost of capital.
Best is to get into P4 and then just look back at the relevant F9 lectures if you come to something that you don’t remember from F9.
May 23, 2017 at 9:20 am #387564Thank you John, this looks a nice strategy to me. One more question, how much time almost is required to prepare for P4? And what is the best pattern of study and practice to pass P4?
May 23, 2017 at 2:47 pm #387607I cannot possibly say how much time is needed – everyone is different and so much depends on how easy or difficult you find the topics.
If you download our free Study Guide, then I suggest past exam questions to practice as your are working through the notes and lectures. Do make sure you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – it is vital to practice as many past questions as possible to get used to the style of the questions.
