The teams do not lose sight of their long- term objectives. They can remain focused.
This is one of advantages listed in one answer of revision kit. Question name is ALG Technology.
How can matrix structure help to not to lose sight of long term objectives?
Sorry. The point is not very clear to me either.
It could mean, in the context of project teams, that the team members are all focussed on hitting the project deadlines etc (because they are part of that team) whilst also having a responsibility to their functional roles and functional managers.
