Can i state that this is a balance sheet after reporting date where it is an adjusting events required adjustment. If not understate the profit and current
liabilities. I read through the examiner answer but he did not mention this so i was wondering can i write this.Correct me if im wrong thanks..
No, it’s not an adjusting event.
There is no event! It’s simply a matter of a material disagreement with Mr Smith as to the need for a provision – he says it’s not necessary but we are deeply sceptical and would like to see some evidence to support his contention
This has nothing at all to do with subsequent events
