Would you mind please to explain how the examiner calculated the 11% and 1%(the growth from 2006 to 2007 base on quarter 3 trend figure was about 11%).In contrast the growth from quarter 2 of 2008 to 2009 again base on the trend values was less the 1%)This was the examiner explaination… but i could not make a clue from it.
Secondly,he claim that there was a sudden increase in random variations in the last three analysed quarters … how ?
This topic was giving me problem but i dont want to spare it …
Thanks
2006 to 2007 (based on the quarter 3 trend figure) was about 11%. : 65.5 to 72.75 = 11%
The growth from quarter 2 of 2008 to quarter 2 of 2009 (again based on the trend values) was less than 1%: 73.5 to 73.75 = 0.34% (ie less than 1%).
The random variations are the residuals 1.48, 2.1 and 1.23 are much higher than those just earlier.
