    Dear Sir

For question 2 for 2010 June, the PPE doesn’t not take into the carrying value for building and land, hence the PPE value were (67,500-23,500-6600+9000)= 46,400, however for 2013 June paper question 2, the PPE include the building and land value, which is (44500 +52500) =97300, can you verify on this?

I don’t have the June 2010 paper available but, to be honest, it really does not make a whole world of difference whether you amalgamate land and buildings with PPE or whether you show them as two separate amounts.

    So long as you show how you have arrived at the end figure eg (44,500 + 22,100 – 6,500 + 15,000 – 10,900) 64,200

    Ok?
