how important is strategic planning likely to be to the following organization?
a) a health service
b)a small building contractor
sir i understand that its importance in health service because in health sector changes are coming rapidly new treatments are introducing new equipments are coming in hospitals so it is important for the hospital providing health service to adjust his skills resources to the environment otherwise they are in trouble and they need to make strategic decision carefully in time.
but in case of small building contractor how strategic planning is important?
i can not understand this sir please help me i will be thankfull to youIt is important even for small businesses. Take the building contractor where profits and opportunities could be affected by:
1 Changes in minimum wages
2 Changes in tax
3 Changes in interest rates
4 Changes in health and safety laws
5 Changes in competition
etc.Strategic planning is really the same as long term planning. Everyone should do it to increase their chance of survival and success.
