I was appeared in f8 and f5 in june 15 but i passed in f8 but not in f5 and this was my 5th time for f5 and this is my last paper in fundamentals and i am worried about f5 this paper make me disappoint in ACCA.
I did not know where i have problem please help me sought out this problem i also do hard work and i study approximately whole day but i am did not understand where i am lacking please, now my condition this time it that I Quit ACCA please help me!August 7, 2015 at 6:08 pm #266119Well if you quit ACCA now its not better then, that you have wasted your entire time.
Considering that you have attempted 5 times mean that you will be pretty familiar with the concepts and the text. So now just keep on doing practice as much as possible… Mocks and Past Papers in time condition…. Focus and restudy the topics you suffer the most and watch OP lectures just to refresh your memory….
Post your questions on Ask Tutor to clear your doubts
Dont QUIT just because of ONE paper…
Regards…
August 7, 2015 at 6:17 pm #266121Hi there,
Are you eligible to claim the exemption upon F5? If you are eligible, go and claim for exemptions?
You should have concentrated on the paper failed rather than putting all eggs in one basket. I would suggest in the next exam session, just enter F5.
August 7, 2015 at 6:46 pm #266125sbhali: I am sorry that you are having such problems with F5. I don’t know whether or not you have watched the free lectures on here, but if not then do work through them all (with the free lecture notes in front of you).
Otherwise it really is a question of practicing questions. I assume that you have a current edition of a revision kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (an addition including MCQ’s) – if you have not got one then you really must buy one.
You must practice all of the questions and learn from the answers – especially the written parts of the questions (50% of the exam will be questions not involving calculations). For the MCQ’s you must practice under time pressure. It is when you are short of time that you are more likely to misread the question or make silly mistakes.
And do ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum when you come across anything you are not clear about.
